AgeSA, a leading player in Türkiye’s individual retirement and life insurance sector, has successfully migrated its infrastructure to the Bulutistan environment with uninterrupted service continuity. SabancıDx, in partnership with AgeSA and Bulutistan, executed one of Türkiye’s largest cloud transformation projects. The Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure Migration Project, executed by highly skilled Turkish engineers, was completed without any service disruptions.

Achievement of targeted efficiency, speed, security, and cost reductions
The primary objective of the AgeSA Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure Migration Project was to optimize business processes, increase efficiency, and deliver faster, more secure services to customers. Cloud computing technologies are critical in optimizing operations, improving customer experience, and gaining a competitive advantage. The convergence of flexible and efficient programming languages, cloud technologies, and artificial intelligence has driven significant transformation within the insurance industry. This project, executed by Turkish engineers with minimal disruption and cost, serves as a prime example of success.
In addition to standard data backups, the project ensured regional redundancies and aimed for 100% availability in MPLS, internet infrastructure, and voice access, while migrating nearly 100 applications to the new version. The platform upgrade resulted in improved accessibility, usability, and security for AgeSA’s applications. The cloud migration project not only modernized the infrastructure but also introduced scalable and flexible capacity, enhanced performance, strengthened system security, and reduced costs.
A 20% increase in cost efficiency and a 25% improvement in performance were achieved!
AgeSA, which has long centered digitalization, achieved significant flexibility in technology use, increased customer satisfaction, and enhanced efficiency in business processes within the insurance sector through this project. AgeSA started working with closed network access and internet access with Türkiye’s three largest internet service providers by renewing its network and internet infrastructure, which doubled the ‘data’ access rates. As a result, AgeSA became stronger in environmental security, energy security, internet access security, and data security. With the project, 20% cost efficiency, 25% performance increase, and nearly 100% continuity were achieved. In the cloud transformation project, AgeSA’s system data was migrated to the hybrid cloud without any disruption, while over 100 systems were consolidated, resulting in 20.6% resource savings for AgeSA. The project, which took a total of 8 months, was carried out with intensive and meticulous work at two locations in Istanbul and two separate locations in Ankara.
