GIG Sigorta is Running Towards Its Leadership Goal with SabancıDx

The entire infrastructure environment of GIG Sigorta, which has been operating in the Turkish insurance sector since 2016 and providing comprehensive insurance services to individual and corporate clients, was seamlessly migrated to the new data center by SabancıDx and has begun to be managed.

Achieving significant premium production figures in the insurance sector, GIG Sigorta successfully transferred its entire technological infrastructure—including physical and virtual servers, network, and security devices—to the new data center without any interruptions or issues. This major migration project was carried out through the joint efforts of the GIG Turkey IT team and SabancıDx experts. The project was successfully implemented along with 24/7 monitoring and support services.

End-to-End Management of All Infrastructure Environments

During the transition from its old data center to the new one, the GIG Turkey IT team and SabancıDx experts collaborated seamlessly to ensure end-to-end manageability of GIG Sigorta’s infrastructure. GIG Sigorta provides insurance services across a wide range of areas, including general liability, accidents, natural disasters, financial losses, and motor vehicles. As part of the project, numerous services were successfully deployed, including Hardware and Infrastructure Services, Operating System Management, Database Management, Disaster Recovery Service, Backup Management, Virtualization and Storage Management, Security and Network Management, 24/7 Monitoring, and Help Desk Service.

Disaster Recovery Center Activated to Ensure Business Continuity

To support GIG Sigorta’s strategic growth objectives and ensure business continuity against potential disruptions, a Disaster Recovery Center was activated. With the technical support of the GIG Sigorta IT team and the expertise of SabancıDx, this center guarantees the uninterrupted continuation of operations. Throughout this process, coordination was maintained at every stage of the project, with contributions from business partners. The project was successfully completed well ahead of schedule without causing any service interruptions, thanks to the active participation of the GIG Sigorta IT team and the dedicated efforts of SabancıDx. Through this collaboration, GIG Sigorta’s infrastructure is now managed securely and efficiently.
